Against this backdrop, he officially confirmed that US President Donald Trump has updated the composition of the team that will be involved in resolving the Russian-Ukrainian war.
This time, the head of the US State Department, Marco Rubio, known for his pro-Ukrainian stance, has joined it.
Also remaining on the team is Trump’s son-in-law, special envoy, and businessman Jared Kushner.
In Jens Stoltenberg’s opinion, a successful development of the negotiation track is possible only if the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, finally agrees to work on agreements with other parties.
However, the Russian dictator has not yet shown any desire to sit down at the negotiating table.
