Felfner Triumphs at Continental Tour Event
Felfner commenced his 2026 summer season with a win at the Ukrainian Athletics Throwing Cup, recording a distance of 76.88 meters. At his subsequent competition in the Czech Republic, the Josef Odolil Memorial, the Ukrainian improved this mark to 80.27 meters.
In Finland, Felfner competed in a leg of the Continental Tour. Initially, the athlete threw for 77.24 meters, achieving the second-best result in that round behind Finn Oliver Helander (78.67 meters). With his next throw, the Ukrainian updated his season’s personal best to 81.64 meters.

By the conclusion of the competition, other throwers were unable to surpass this mark. However, Felfner himself managed to do so, executing a throw of 83.11 meters and claiming the “gold.” The silver medal was awarded to the reigning World Champion, Trinidadian athlete Keshorn Walcott, with a throw of 81.41 meters.
